Muslim Dua before eating
The first thing you should do before you start eating is to say Bismillah, which means ‘In The Name of Allah’. Umm Kulthum narrated that Aishah told here that the Allah prophet said: Narrated Umm Kulthum: From ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “When one of you eats food, then let him say: ‘Bismillah.’”
بِسْمِ الله وَبَرَكَةِ الله
Transliteration: Bismillahi Wa Barakatillah
In the name of Allah and with the blessings of Allah.

Salams,
I have come across a site recently saying that the dua before eating does not have the word “alaa” in it and it was incorrectly written in al Husnul Haseen. Can you verify which version is correct? Is it bismillahi wa alaa barakatillah or bismillahi wa barakatillah.
