(1244 AH – 1323 AH) (1826 AD – 1905 AD) Hadhrat Maulana was known as Qutbul Irshad and Alim-e-Rabbaani. Hadhrat Maulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi (Rahmatullahi Alayhi) was an Ayyubi. He is from among the descendents of Hadhrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu). When Nabi Kareem (Salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) made Hijrah, Hadhrat Abu Ayyub Ansari (Radiyallahu Anhu) hosted him. Dua for protection – arabic text سبحان الله وبحمده، ولا قوة إلا بالله، ما شاء الله كان، وما لم يشأْ لم يكن أعلَمُ أنَّ الله على كل شيء قدير، وأنَّ الله قد أحاط بكلِّ شيءٍ عِلماً  Dua for protection – translation Pure is Allah (from any imperfeection) and for Him is all Praise.
